Top Film & TV Apps on Android in Chile, Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the top film and television applications on the Android platform in Chile demonstrated notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here's a breakdown of their performance.

HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies from WarnerMedia Global Digital Services, LLC showed an upward trajectory in weekly revenue, peaking at around $160K in early March. The app saw a decline in weekly downloads from 33.5K in late January to 20.2K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated, reaching a high of 560K in early March before settling at 409K.

Disney+ maintained strong revenue growth, concluding the quarter with approximately $390K in weekly revenue. Downloads were fairly stable, averaging around 28K weekly, while active users peaked at over 1M in early March.

Netflix, despite not generating revenue, maintained a steady download rate, starting at 25.5K and ending at 13.2K. Active users remained robust, with numbers consistently above 1.1M.

Crunchyroll saw a rise in revenue towards the end of the quarter, reaching $110K. Downloads fluctuated slightly, with a peak of 20K in early March. Active users increased steadily, ending the quarter at 554K.

PlutoTV: Live TV & Free Movies experienced a decline in weekly downloads from 26.4K in mid-January to about 13.4K by the end of March. Active users, however, grew steadily, peaking at 280K in mid-March.
